Didn't realize it had been so long since I posted here. Made some new friends at the local Con, got some great shots, and met the insanely adorable KasaiRyuCosplay (https://www.deviantart.com/kasairyucosplay) who I hope to work more with in thee near future.  More edits and cosplay to come soon, need to get back to my landscapes to try out/play with the new camera.  

Just back from the local con. Had a great time, but still very tired. Had a blast shooting some "Prom" style photos at the dance. looking forward to the next project.

Recently I've been inspired to dig out my camera and get back into the world.  Losing someone very close to me really forced me to look at what I was doing, and not doing, and made me realize I really wanted to capture the world as I saw it.  Not just the fun people in costumes at this even or that, but to try to find ways to show who they are with the camera. To freeze a moment in nature to share with everyone.  To capture the creative angles made with light, water, wind, stone, and wood.  With my camera people can see what I see, even if they don't see it the way I do.  But isn't that the point of photography, to let everyone see everything
